Feb 28

New process:  If your child needs to take OTC medicines at camp (Tylenol, Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Midol, Benedryl, etc), you will need to send in the medicine, get a Health Professional's (HP) permission statement for it, and attach statement to the Parent Medical Permission Form. Both the medicine and HP's permission should be sent in with the child on the first day of camp. The HP's permission can be either written on a prescription notepad, or a note written from the HP, but must state HP's name, child's name, name of medicine, dosage, and when given.  Prescription medicine does not need a separate permission statement as it is written on the original prescription bottle.  A HP could be a doctor, nurse, physician assistant, etc.
