3/10/10-Council memo to Camp Directors

Considering the times and the increased need for financial aid, coupled with efforts to approve as many financial aid requests as we can, we have come up with the following:
The camper's family will be responsible for at least 20% of the camp fee.  If they are unable to pay the 20% then they can go to their troop and see if the troop can help them out to pay. If the troop is unable to help at all, or can only pay a portion, then a decision will be made on a case by case basis.

When a camper requests financial aid, please make sure that each question on the registration form (Family Can Pay, Requested Amount, Please explain reason for need, Is she receiving Financial Assistance for another camp) is completely filled out.

2/23/10

Spring Day Camp is cancelled.  Registrations were too low. We will try again next year.  All parents of registered girls were notified via email 2/23/2010 evening.

Dinner Theater trip has has been rescheduled for June 6.  Open to Juniors and Teens.
