Brownie Buddies Detective Agency
Today we had a great time getting to know each other!  We did nature rubbings, learned lots of new songs, played games with the teen tunit, and had our unit's picture taken.

Sibling unit
We played games, we did rubbings with leaves that we found near the pavilion.  We saw a tree with a big hollow in it.  We are playing with bubbles in this picture.

Teens (6+ grades)

We went swimming at Cove Point pool in Calvert Co. after camp was over.   It felt good on a hot day.  We had pizza for supper and swam with the friends we made today at camp.  It was our own special teen time.

TUESDAY

Tie-dye day and s'more day

B -1 (2-3 grades) - Brownie Buddies Detective Agency
What an awesome day at camp!  We were crime scene investigators, t-shirt designes, and boaters.  Yes, we paddle boated,  We also disigned amazing unt flags

T-1, T-2 (6+ grades)

Today we went swimming at the new Calvert Co indoor swimming pool.  It was fun on a hot day.

WEDNESDAY

D-2 (K-1 grades) Silly Spyrates

Our unit hiked all the way around the lake solving mini-mysteries along the way.  The trail is 2.5 miles long..

B-2 (2-3 grades)

We learned about "absorbancy" while making coffee filter Butterflys.

B-1 (2-3 grades) Brownie Buddies Detective Agency

What a day! We made food chain zings and our wery first swap of camps.  We also learned how to make boxed gymp, solved a mystery and designed our own treasure trails.

T-1, T-2 (6+ grades)

Some of us went kayaking on the Patuxent River today.  What fun!

THURSDAY

Cookout day for all

Each unit will make their lunch today as a unit.  Some planned cold cut sandwiches or wraps, or tacos in a bag.  Some units cooked English muffin pizzas or hot dogs. 

D-2 (K-1 grades) Silly Spyrates

Today we made mini pizzas over a fire.  we learned how to have a healthy lunch and the necessities of eating right.

B-1 (2-3 grades) Brownie Buddies Detective Agency

We had beautiful weather at camp today.  The girls made swaps, learned about water tension, and made birthday cards for a local nursing home.  We also made mini pizzas, fruit salad, baked beans, hot dogs, chips, and drinks.

T-1, T-2- (6+ grades) Teen Adventure units - Bowling

Teen units went bowling fpr 2 hours.  And for their cookout they had pizza at the bowling alley.
