Trek 1-2008 Horse Riding and Swimming
On March 24th, the teens took their first teen trek!! It was a fun filled day!! First, we traveled to A Moment in Time Riding Stables where we learned how to tack, groom, and ride a horse (English style). We practiced different techniques like walk, stop, mount, dismount, and even rode bareback. Also, we played games on the horses and went on an exciting trail ride. After lunch, we went to the Great Mills Swimming Pool. There, we enjoyed playing in the water with new friends. A great ending to a wonderful day. I can't wait for the next trek!!
